SDS COVID-19 BUSINESS UPDATE

Here to support our customers, partners, and friends in the security industry during the Coronavirus Pandemic

SDS Coronavirus Update

As we navigate the changes that COVID-19 has forced upon how we work and live our day to day lives, we want to let you know the measures Shooter Detection Systems has taken and how we can continue to support our customers, partners, prospects, and friends in the security industry.

First, how are we operating as a team?

For the health and well-being of our staff and to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19, last week SDS ordered all employees to work remotely effective Tuesday, March 17. As of today, all SDS employees are healthy and well and we are grateful for that.

During the past week we have adjusted to the changing landscape of how to work effectively in a virtual environment, and our team is united stronger than ever in our commitment to help you keep your active shooter initiatives on track.

How can we help you virtually?

If you’re just learning about gunshot detection, schedule a Zoom meeting with a member of our sales team and we will provide you with a thorough introduction including an overview of the technology and a video demonstration.

You may think a site visit is required to get an accurate quote for gunshot detection, but you’d be surprised what we can accomplish with a scaled floor plan! Schedule a Zoom meeting where we can take a look at your floor plans together and get an idea of your key areas of coverage so we can build a thorough design. This service also applies for A&E/Security Consultants looking to add gunshot detection to a design or wanting to gain a better understanding of the system’s specifications.

Need to place an order for sensors? We have inventory available to ship! Send your purchase orders to [email protected].

The “Essential” Business of Security

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has deemed security integrators as “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers”, and as a Public Safety Entity, SDS is operating within health and safety guidelines to support our partners and customers. We are  remotely supporting installations at professional sports stadiums, energy companies, airports, universities and K12 schools who have taken advantage of empty buildings to install our gunshot detection systems. Our team is ready and available via phone at 1-844-SHOT911 and e-mail at [email protected].

We are “business as usual” – virtually!

We’re not just business as usual, we are busier than ever as we continue moving forward with business plans that include the rollout of an exciting new gunshot detection leasing program and hiring for key roles in Sales and Engineering.

As we move forward with this new way of doing business, the entire SDS team is available via phone and email. Do not hesitate to reach out to me or any member of the SDS team to let us know how we can help you.  Our great reputation for responsiveness and customer service has not and will not waver! You can also visit our website, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter to stay on top of what’s happening with SDS.

Stay healthy and safe!

Sincerely,

Christian Connors, Chief Executive Officer
