Life Saving Potential of Guardian Indoor Active Shooter Detection System Demonstrated
Rowley, Massachusetts — August 20, 2015 — Shooter Detection Systems LLC (SDS), the world leader in indoor gunshot detection technology, today announced that it completed a successful tactical training exercise involving a Mock Active Shooter/Terrorist Event at a synagogue in West Orange, New Jersey. SDS was invited by the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to participate for the second time using the Guardian Indoor Active Shooter Detection System to deploy first responders to various scenarios. In 2014, SDS participated in a DHS-sponsored school safety exercise utilizing Guardian to alert first responders to a mock live fire active shooter event.
