Go behind the doors of the GWCC’s EOC and hear from Marc Vincent, Director of Emergency Preparedness, on how his team uses gunshot detection alongside video, access control, and real-time situational awareness to protect the facility and respond to threats. This is a rare look at how a peer security leader has built and operates a world-class program.

The Live Installation Tour

Walk the facility with SDS experts and see the gunshot detection system exactly as it operates every day. Learn how sensors are placed, how the system integrates with existing security infrastructure, and what detection looks like in a real-world environment, not a test lab.

Both groups complete both tracks. The full experience runs approximately one hour.

Marc Vincent has spent his career at the intersection of homeland security, counter-terrorism, and emergency preparedness. He is the GWCC Authority’s first-ever Director of Emergency Preparedness, a role he built from the ground up after more than a decade with the Georgia Emergency Management Agency and earlier work in the Authority’s own public safety department. He has conducted live-fire exercises with the SDS system, including simultaneous multi-weapon discharge scenarios, and has seen it perform without exception.

Brian Harrell will join the tour group in the SDS meeting room to discuss gunshot detection and its application in corporate security environments. His perspective on where gunshot detection fits in a modern enterprise security program is one you won’t hear in a trade show booth.
