ResponderLink Wins Two Security Today New Product Awards

Shooter Detection Systems, an Alarm.com (NASDAQ: ALRM) company and the leading provider of gunshot detection solutions to schools, governments, and commercial businesses, has been honored with two Security Today 2023 New Product of the Year Awards. The company earned gold and platinum awards respectively for its ResponderLink service and enhanced SDS Indoor Gunshot Detection System.

SDS ResponderLink, launched this year, helped SDS win gold in the Emergency Communication Systems category thanks to its ability to connect real-time gunshot detection data with 911. The new service combines SDS’s proven gunshot sensors with an enhanced capability that gets critical gunshot location data to 911 dispatchers, helping them enable faster and more informed police response to a shooting in progress.

The SDS Indoor Gunshot Detection System took platinum honors in the Weapons Detection category thanks to significant product upgrades like ResponderLink.
